ANIMAL / PET POLICY

While your animal is welcomed at specific properties managed by Loft, animals can be a nuisance to neighbors and cause damage to our rental homes. Residents are responsible for the management and behavior of their animals at all times, including but not limited to nuisance behavior such as barking, scratching, chewing, and waste. For properties that accept pets each household can accommodate a maximum of two pets. A pet interview may be required prior to move in.

Canines 0 to 35 Lbs. mature weight $200 Deposit & $15 monthly pet rent
Canines 36 to 50 Lbs. mature weight $400 Deposit & $25 monthly pet rent
Felines under 50 Lbs. mature weight $200 Deposit & $15 monthly pet rent
One Fish tank 10 gallons or under No additional deposit required
RESTRICTED BREEDS
Pit Bull, Rottweiler, German Shepherd, Chow Chow, Doberman, Wolf, Husky, Malamute, American Bull Dog,
Staffordshire Terrier, Any hybrid or mixed version of these breeds, Any breed restricted by local laws or ordinances.
Loft Property Management does not allow any pet whether exotic or domestic considered to be lethal or deadly.
PET/ANIMAL REQUIREMENTS

Pet/Animal must conform to state and local ordinances
Current vaccination records
Canines to be licensed according to local ordinances
Loft recommends all Pet/Animal be spayed or neutered
ANIMAL/PET RULES

Pets/Animals must be on a leash while outside the rental unit.

Pets/Animals may not be tied to anything outdoors Pets cannot be left unattended on balconies or patios.

All waste must be picked up immediately and disposed of in proper receptacle.

Pets/Animals must be led away from patios and living areas to relieve themselves.

At the 6 Month mark of tenancy a pet inspection of the home will be completed.

Pets/Animals policies are strictly enforced, and any breach may be grounds for termination of your lease.

Pets/ Animals SHALL NOT BE ALLOWED TO DISTURB THE peaceful enjoyment of others, threaten others, or create any type of nuisance. Determination of what is a nuisance or an unacceptable risk to others shall be at the sole discretion and opinion of Loft.

Residents will be evicted for bringing any animal onto our properties without prior written management approval, or for misrepresenting the breed of their animal or for the possession of poisonous, dangerous, illegal animals, or endangered species.
SERVICE AND COMPANION ANIMALS
All service, emotional support, or companion animals are welcome with documentation to verify their service or the nexus between the disability and the need for the accommodation/ animal. (If it is not a known disability) If you have a service, emotional support, or companion animal, please ask about our verification process to determine if you or your animal meet the legal requirements of a service, emotional support, or companion animal.
Service, emotional support, and companion animals are not classified as pets and are exempt from breed restrictions, additional deposits, and monthly pet rents.
